You know those little onesies that your child hasn’t been able to wear in a LONG time, but you just can’t bear to donate them because of the special memories? Join Sey Bryant, owner of Sey Donna Made, to turn some of your favorite little one’s outgrown onesies into a sweet keepsake pillow.

For this workshop, you will need to bring 10-15 total of the following: Onesies, Sleepers, Swaddles, Blankets, T-shirts, Sweatshirts, Button Ups – Sizes 0-3m and up are best! (Pre-wash the clothes and please avoid items with holes or large spots/stains unless you are okay with them being on your item.)

Sey will guide you through the process of learning to stabilize, cut, layout and sign off on the exact 9 patch design that will be constructed by Sey off site. You get full creative control of exactly how your pillow should look, and Sey will do the construction!

*Please note: You will NOT be sewing your pillow during this class! You will be in charge of selecting the specific pieces of each garment that you want to be on your pillow and then you will stabilize, cut, and layout the pillow yourself! Sey will sew your pieces together off site and will return them to The Parlor for pickup within 1-2 weeks of your event date.  These pillows make a special gift and will be delivered in plenty of time for you to gift for the holidays if you’d like!

Please note the photo of the back of the pillow is just an example to show backing construction. This fabric design may not be available as a choice during your workshop.

Workshop takes 2-3 hours.  This is a BYOB event- feel free to bring a beverage or snack of your choice to enjoy during the class.

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on your ticket. We’re able to transfer your registration or issue class credit as long as we receive at least 72 hours of notice. If you’re within 72 hours of the class taking place, we’re unable to make any transfers or changes because the materials have been purchased and the teacher is paid based on final registration numbers.

However, if the project is NOT of a personalized nature (name signs, etc.) class registration is always transferable to a different participant! Just shoot us a quick email and let us know the name of the person taking your place so we can swap it out on our roster.

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a class due to weather, or unexpected circumstances. However, if your event is cancelled or postponed on our end, you will be eligible for a refund, or we can transfer you to a different class.

 

2-3 hours to describe the process, show examples, demonstrate how to press and cut
the fabrics, stabilize them and play around with the layouts.

 

You bring the garments and Sey will provide all additional materials. The keepsake pillows will use nine patches for construction, but please bring several extra items (we recommend 12-15) just in case one or more of your garments’ material doesn’t work with the project.

Severe Weather: Classes canceled due to severe weather will be rescheduled with the instructor. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled class, we offer a store credit for the full ticket value.
